Be aware of your thoughts today
Sometimes we forget that in the same way we observe the outer world we can observe the inner world – the world of thoughts and emotions. Thoughts want to arrive continuously and that’s fine because that’s what they do, but there is no need get drawn into every thought that arises. You are bigger than your thoughts and you don’t have to be dominated by them. You can experiment with thoughts, follow some and observe others. Many of us will go through today thinking about yesterday or planning tomorrow, why is that? Is tomorrow going to be better than today? What could be more beautiful than right now which is all that’s really guaranteed anyway? Today let’s be aware of our thoughts, let’s practice being present.
