Spring in Stockholm
So I’m home, sweet home where spring is in the air. Stockholmers are enjoying 20 degrees and this stunning scenery. This is why I miss Sweden – this incredible nature that surrounds us wherever we are. Our team has been filming all over the capital and I can’t wait to share the final piece with you when it goes on air late July. So far we’ve been working 10 hours every day but I hope to have the last day off to spent with my family and do some shopping. House of Dagmar is calling my name…

My french adventure
I am lucky to have the friends that I have, women who are strong, fascinating and loving. In Paris I was visiting my dear Luna who is so much more than just a beautiful face. This girl has the biggest heart and so much charisma. Ever since we met she has taken on the big sister role and sometimes she is pretty tough on me, but sisters have to be especially when they want our very best like Luna does.
I arrived in the fashion capital of the world just in time for the most magnificent exhibition. The Paris Haute Couture exhibition brings together a hundred exceptional dresses and outfits by designers such as Chanel, Worth, Doucet, Poiret, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Grès, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lacroix, Alaïa and many more.
I wish I could move into my friends beautiful apartment. I love every little detail around this house.

La ville lumière
Some of you lovelies noticed that I had gone MIA. Well this is why…. I’ve been busy discovering Paris, the city of lights.

My lovelies, I’m off home to Stockholm for a week to spend quality time with my loved ones. I can’t wait to be on Swedish land despite the weather.

Maison 140
My stay in LA was made even better as this was the place I would return to every night. This charming boutique style hotel is something of old Hollywood meets Parisian chic. I hope to be back there in March, this time for pleasure rather than work, so I can bring you a proper review with lots of photos to go with it.

California dreaming
On my way to the airport. 13 hour flight – no one could make me take of these yoga pants. I got my face mask ready, pillow, good book, music and off we go. Speak to you from the other side x

Angeles
I’m all packed and ready for my 10 day duty trip to California. It’s 4 am and I leave for the airport in a couple of hours. I can’t tell you how excited I am because 1. if I could live anywhere in the world it would be LA, 2. because I have worked so very hard ahead of this trip to make everything run smoothly and now it’s time to get results. We are flying to San Francisco where we will stay a couple of days, then flying down to LA. It’s been around 25 degrees there for the past week so I hope the weather holds.
Angeles by Elliott Smith – my official LA song. Stephen thanks for sending this through, been on repeat ever since. x

A Night to Remember…
On Saturday night we had VIP access to most Stockholm clubs and bars in the Stureplan area. We all agreed our favourite place is Spy Bar. If you’re visiting Sthlm and looking for a place to dance the night away then don’t miss out. A big thanks to my friend Nima Pirzadeh for making this a night to remember.

Scandic Grand Central

Welcome to Scandic Grand Central! This is the hotel we stayed at over the weekend. This historical building is located in the centre of the Swedish capital, less than 5 minutes walk from the Central Station and all shopping sites. The 391-room hotel which opened in 2011 is the stylish flagship of Scandic Hotels, a Swedish brand with more than 150 properties across Northern Europe. The rooms have so much character and the comfortable beds offered a good nights sleep. I really loved the music quotes on the walls all across the hotel, the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. I always judge hotels by their toiletries and Scandic Grand offers shampoo, conditioner and soap from the Face Stockholm brand which is one of my favourites. The breakfast buffet was delightful, giving you a taste of the Swedish cuisine. If you book in advance you can get really amazing rates for this hotel. Me and my friends were really happy with our stay and I truly recommend this hotel if you’re planning to visit Stockholm.

Stockholm update

I’m still recovering from the fantastic weekend we had here in Stockholm. My friends have now gone back to London while I’m staying here until Sunday to catch up with old friends and spend some quality time with my family.
Over the weekend I got to act like a tourist guide, showing my friends our amazing capital and all its hidden gems. We checked into Scandic Grand Central- if you’re visiting Stockholm then this is the place to stay; fantastic service, great rooms and based in the heart of the Swedish capital. My friends wanted to check out the shopping in Stockholm, which is amazing esp. if like me, you’re a big fan of Scandinavian brands such as Acne, Whyred, House of Dagmar, Tiger of Sweden and Filippa K. On Saturday night I took them out for a tour of the best Stockholm bars and clubs. On Sunday we visited the Old City (Gamla Stan) and a final visit to Max (Swedish version of Macdonald’s but 200 times better). Said goodbye and my parents picked me up to take me home to lots of TLC.
More Stockholm updates coming your way…
