Shades of Autumn

cos gray cardigan

It’s officially autumn – my favourite season. Love wrapping up and going for nice long walks in the park. It’s not just the stunning shades of nature that’s behind my love affair with this season but also because it’s the most exciting time for fashion. Currently I’m obsessing with COS’s AW collection. Where COS is usually mostly black, grey and navy, their AW 2012 collection exists of the very colours of nature I like so much, from off-whites and pastels to skin caramels and shades of green. This collection seems even more minimalistic than usual, who would have thought that could be possible? Today I’m layering with this cardigan from COS.

And she returns

Lovelies, I’m home in Stockholm since Saturday and will be staying for another ten days. I’m aware that I’ve been the worst blogger ever but I think all bloggers go through phase where they feel uninspired as well as being super busy. I have several exciting projects on that I will be able to tell you about in a few weeks time.

It’s autumn. FACT! I have to accept it and put away all my summer clothes. I went shopping with mum and got lots of great basics today:  two body-con skirts in gray and black to wear with tights and thick long cardigans. A few basic tops, denim shirt, and long warm cardigan. I love the colours this season esp. all the mustard and green. I need a green dress to wear with black boots.

Illusions d’Ombres de Chanel Nail Polish

While I’m enjoying every minute of the summer, news like this make me not mind the autumn ahead. Chanel has revealed it new Autumn 2011 Illusions d’Ombres makeup collection inspired by precious metals and jewels. It includes these three amazing nail polish shades. What do you think? I’m personally lusting over Graphite which is listed as a limited edition colour. I better get myself to the Chanel counter tomorrow before it’s too late.

Summer moved on

I think it’s fair to say that the summer is coming to an end don’t you think? It makes me feel a bit down and I’m trying to stay positive by making a list of the things I’ve got to look forward to in September:

  • Going home to Stockholm for the first week of September to see my lovely family as well as to pick up a very special present (I can’t wait to show it to you- I wonder if you could guess what it is).
  • Best friend Olya moves to London.
  • I will be covering London Fashion week for work.
  • The shops will be filled with gorgeous autumn/winter clothes. Can’t wait to layer!

Time for reflection

Summer used to be my favourite season. I guess it still is but autumn is not far behind. I love going for strolls when the air is slightly chilly and trees filled with red and yellow leafs. I think it’s the season for reflection. A friend of mine send me this photo today knowing how much I miss autumn in Moscow. London is simply gray today.
