Essie vs OPI
So we’ve seen Dior and Chanel’s Spring 2012 nail polishes but what do you think of Essie vs OPI?

I think there’s more variety to OPI’s Holland Collection, but then again I always pick OPI ahead of Essie. Don’t get me wrong, I have plenty of Essie polishes but I think OPI does better colours that last longer.

Lookfantastic Beauty Haul
If you follow me on twitter (beingdena) then you might have read that I recently won Lookfantastic’s Beauty Haul. It was amazing considering that I didn’t have a clue that I had entered the competition. I simply tweeted how happy I was with their service. I always get my Dermalogica and Kerastase products from them. Their webshop has the lowest prices as well as a very speedy free delivery. So you can imagine how surprised I was when I got a tweet saying I won their Beauty Haul and a few days later a package arrived with all of these beauty products inside. I think I will start tweeting more :)

It’s Totally Fort Worth It
I’ve discovered yet another favourite OPI colour. This one is called It’s Totally Fort Worth It and part of the Texas collection. It’s a shimmery lavender grey and it’s very sheer. This is a nice alternative to pale pink if you want a subtle look.

Guy Meets Gal-veston
I’m loving this shade from OPI’s Texas collection. It has a sorbet like finish to it which means you can achieve a translucent look if you apply 1-2 coats, and 3 coats for a more opaque look. It’s easier to apply than other nail polishes which I can only imagine is because of its jelly like consistency and it has a really nice shine to it. This shade is lovely coral, perfect for the summer.

Pamper me
Hello lovelies,
How are you spending your Friday? It’s finally sunny here in London and I’m off work so I started the day by getting a haircut. My hair had grown really long but it was looking dull and I had some split ends so I asked my Johnny (that’s what I call my hair dresser- I wouldn’t change him for anyone else) take off around 5cm and give me more layers esp in the front and he did a fab job. Just in time for the Aussie bloggers event tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it.
After the haircut I went for manicure and pedicure. Do you like this shade? it’s my favourite, it’s something between red and orange and so perfect for the summer. It’s by OPI but I forgot to ask for the name. On my way home I passed Comptoir des Cotonniers and of course I had to go in, knowing I wouldn’t come out empty-handed. I found the most stunning dress just perfect for tomorrows theme which is: summer dresses, florals and pastels.
