A mint green dream
The fact that mint green is one of the colour trends for the upcoming spring season suits me just fine. It happens to be my favourite colour, handsome can confirm. I just came across these fantastic shoes from Mulberry and my heart skipped a beat.
And while we’re talking Mulberry, here’s another item on my wish list.

Look up every now and then…
Went for a stroll down the beach today and on my way I passed the usual birds sitting on powerlines. How safe is that really?
Then something less usual…. How on earth did they get up there and did he (I assume it’s a he by the size of them) walk home barefoot?

Bimba & Lola makes its London debut
I can’t tell you how delighted I was when I received an email from Bimba & Lola head office telling me that my favourite Spanish Fashion brand was coming to London.
The ready-to-wear and accessories label opened it’s first store at Westfield in October and I’ve been back several times since. Bimba & Lola not only promises a mix of elegance and the latest fashion trends, but also the very best quality when it comes to leather and fabrics. My favourite winter coat and boots comes from there, all I am missing now is one of their signature bags stamped with the greyhound silhouette.
I am sure Bimba & Lola will become as big a success here as it is in the rest of Europe, Asia and Middle East. The store in Westfield is only the beginning and I am so glad that I no longer need to fly to Spain to get my bimba & lola fix.

Zalando
A week ago I got an email from Zalando offering me a voucher to spend on their website. I like these kind of offers because it allows you to properly review a web-shop as you go through the same process any other costumer would when placing an order. I was really happy to discover Zalando because they stock any brand you could think of, even Scandinavian ones such as Ganni, By Malene Birger and of course Vagabond. I was delighted to see my beloved Leslie boots on their site and clicked them home without any hesitation. Placing the order was very easy and fast and 4 days later the package arrived. I’m really happy with Zalando and their service and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Wild Swans
I recently discovered my personal heaven in London and its called Wild Swans. They have a boutique in Islington and one in Chiswick as well as an amazing web-boutique. As you know I adore the Scandinavian style because it seems so effortless and understated yet so very chic. Wild Swans happen to stock all my favourite Scandinavian brands such as By Malene Birger, Ganni, Bjorg, Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Graumann and many more.
Caroline van Luthje and her team are warm and welcoming which is why Wild Swans is the kind of boutique you want to walk into and stay for a long time (in my case for ever). Also I like that there’s no pressure, you can have a look around in peace and try things on and the staff are always at hand if you need any help or advice. I took some photos from the Islington boutique so you can see what I mean when I say heaven.

A pair of shoes that could change your life
Lovelies, sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve been working non-stop and I’ve managed to catch a cold just before my holiday. I got almost the entire month of July off and I will start my long holiday with 12 days home in Stockholm. I can’t wait to be back, I miss the nordic air. Mum has made a list of all my favourite dishes to cook. Yep I’m going to be one spoiled princess.

red ballerinas
Zara started its sale today and though I didn’t find much I managed to get these lovely red ballerina pumps to complete my collection. You name a colour- I have it.

They are leather ones and cost £19. They come in yellow and orange as well.

They call me Dena Ballerina
The reason my friends call me Dena Ballerina is not because it rimes or that I used to do ballet but because you never catch me not wearing ballerinas. I’ve got them in every possible colour. I recently added these two to my collection. The Mango ones are the best buys because they are incredibly comfortable (They come in black as well).

Walk in my shoes
I love these wedges I got from H&M. They are really comfortable and go with most summer outfits. Plus they were such a bargain- around £14. They should still be available in store
